Description
Each piece of Harrods cashmere begins life in the Gobi Desert, where the fine undercoats of local mountain goats are collected. The luxurious wool is then transported to the banks of Loch Leven, Scotland, where each fibre is checked for impurities before being dyed. After dying the yarn is knitted and transformed into a high-quality pieces, such as this hoodie, by skilled artisans in Hawick: ‘the home of cashmere’.
Caring for your cashmere is the best way to ensure it lasts. We recommend hand washing your cashmere knitwear in lukewarm water with a cashmere shampoo and laying to dry on a flat surface. Alternatively, dry clean using a specialist cashmere dry cleaner.
